Deposit & Policies
Deposit Policy
A deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits show serious commitment and help us hold your chosen puppy for your family. Final payment must be completed before the puppy leaves B.A. Kennels.

Ear Cropping & Tail Docking Policy
At B.A. Kennels, we believe every family should have the freedom to make the best decisions for their puppy and lifestyle. 🐾🐾
For that reason, we do not automatically ear crop our puppies before they leave our program. Ear cropping is a personal preference, and we fully respect both natural and cropped looks.
Our puppies will leave with their ears natural unless a buyer specifically requests ear cropping. If requested, cropping can be arranged at the buyer’s expense through a trusted veterinary professional. Your puppy must have the deposit and cost of procedure paid in full before the pup goes to have ears done.
Puppies have a small time frame that cropping can be completed in. The decision must be final before 6 weeks of age. Otherwise, failure to do so will result in your pup having natural full ears.
Tail docking is also optional and can be performed by our veterinarian if requested within the appropriate time frame. You must choose your puppy and have put down the deposit plus the cost for the procedure before the pup is taken to have the tail docked. If you fail to do so, the puppy’s tail will stay natural and full.
Puppies have a small time frame that tail docking can be done in. You must make your decision before the puppy is 3 days of age.
Our priority will always be raising healthy, stable, well-socialized dogs first and allowing families the choice to customize based on their preferences.

Do puppies come cropped?
No. Puppies leave with natural ears unless the buyer requests cropping and pays the procedure cost before the deadline.
Can tails be docked?
Yes, if requested and paid for before the puppy is 3 days old, within the proper veterinary time frame.
